During the consultation you will be able to discuss your ideas and design and taste our different flavours. Together we will work out the best option for your event. Full quotes are provided after all details and size are discussed. All price quotations, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.

The consultation fee is non-refundable, it will be deducted from the cost of your cake when ordered

How much cake to serve

If you have a dessert table, we recommended to serve 50-60% of your total guest count.If you will be having few or no other desserts, then it’s recommended to get 70-80% of your total guest count.

Dummy tiers

Polystyrene dummies can be covered and decorated to look like a real cake and certainly there can be good reasons for using dummy tiers, such as to provide height and grandeur when you don’t need any more real cake or to minimize the weight, however having a dummy tier will not affect the price of a professionally made cake by very much.The cost of a professionally make cake is largely made up of the time taken to cover, prepare and decorate the cake.The raw materials are a relatively small proportion of the cost, so substituting polystyrene for real cake doesn’t make too much difference.


Cake stands, Faux cakes, displays and other items are available for rent for a fee depending on the specific style and size.A refundable security deposit is required to ensure the stand is returned to our Studio address in the original condition within 5 days after the event.The deposit will not be refunded in the event that the stand/s is/are damaged, or returned after 5 days.

Design Change

Design changes are allowed up to two weeks prior to the wedding. We can accept no more than two design changes. Please also note that design changes may affect the price of the wedding cake.

Delivery and setup fee

For desserts and confectionery a delivery fee is added upon checkout based on your delivery area. For highly complex cakes a set-up fee may also apply in addition to the delivery fee. This fee will be assessed when placing your order.

Please ensure before placing your order and selecting a delivery time slot that the recipient will be there to accept it as we cannot be responsible for orders left unattended. Any subsequent delivery attempts will incur another delivery fee charge.

We require a minimum of 2 hours leeway for each delivery; due to unpredictable weather and traffic situations. During inclement weather and traffic conditions beyond our control, times of delivery may be affected and you will be notified ahead of time. Refunds will not be given for delayed deliveries.

Once an order has been either picked up or delivered in good condition, we are no longer responsible for damages done due to improper storage, transportation or otherwise. The collection vehicle should have a flat surface and be clean and tidy. The cake or products can be very fragile so we advise to drive very slowly and carefully and purchase non-slip matting.

Delivery Note

Custom cakes should be kept at room temperature for a minimum of 3-4 hours before serving and should never be stored in a walk-in or industrial refrigerator. Larger cakes may require more time to warm to room temperature before eating. Cakes are okay to remain out of the fridge, at room temperature for 12+ hours, weather dependant. If your cake is being eaten immediately following pick up/delivery please let us know and we will take your cake out of our fridge a few hours before.
Cakes placed outside are liable to react to the temperature. In hot or humid weather there is the possibility of sugar decorations melting or damage to Goods.A shelf life and Best Before Date will be provided on the Delivery Note. This is advisory only. Please note, once cakes have been cut into the shelf life will be reduced.

Our Goods may contain non-edible ingredients or decorations, such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes or wires in some sugar flowers. These will be detailed on the Delivery Note and must be removed before serving or eating


We accept payment in the form of Cash, Interact E Transfer, Paypal, Visa and Master Card.
A 50% deposit is required upon booking to secure your event date. Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances due to any loss of business arising from turning away other bookings on that date. The remaining 50% is due 2 weeks before the delivery date, at which point all changes must be confirmed. Orders placed less than 2 weeks in advance of the delivery date must be paid in full. Failure to complete payment 2 weeks before the delivery date may result in your order being cancelled. By making a payment the Buyer is accepting the Terms and Conditions as detailed on this page.


For large events we recommend that you book your event date with us 6 to 8 months in advance, as space is limited. Booking for all other events is recommended at least 4 weeks prior to your event date.
